Working fulltime and blogging can get overwhelming. A lot of times to keep up, I get into a boring routine, especially with food. A frozen pizza is always my go-to when I don’t feel like cooking. Diet Coke® recently rolled out their new sleek cans as well as new flavor options. This week I took a break from my ordinary routine and tried pairing the Diet Coke Twisted Mango with a bold recipe.
Twisted mango isn’t your ordinary tropical fruit flavor. Twisted mango is a little wilder than fruit like pineapple or papaya. That’s why I decided to pair Diet Coke Twisted Mango with a bold recipe like jerk chicken wings. I love hot wings, but buffalo sauce would’ve been too basic. So I cranked up the heat with fresh jalapenos. Check out my spicy Caribbean jerk chicken recipe below.
We’re all used to mixing sodas with cherry or vanilla. However, the Diet Coke Twisted Mango is an unexpected-yet-refreshing addition to the Diet Coke lineup. I was little worried that the new flavors would be overpowering. But, it’s the same Diet Coke taste we all know and love with the perfect amount of bold flavor. The other flavors include Diet Coke® Feisty Cherry, Diet Coke® Ginger Lime, and Diet Coke® Zesty Blood Orange. The new flavors are available at Kroger in packs as well as on-the-go singles that are perfect for trying all four flavors at an affordable price. Not sure which flavor to try first? Take this quiz to find your match. Not only are there new flavor offerings, but the original Diet Coke has also gotten a facelift with a sleek new can. The cans might be new but it’s got the same great taste it’s always had.
