You guys asked where I purchased my shearling jacket from. Instead of responding to each message, I figured it’d be easier to share here. I bought the one I wear all the time from ASOS a couple of years ago. A lot of people wonder about the quality because it’s a faux suede. I was skeptical about the quality myself. But ASOS’s products are always high quality especially considering that they’re fast fashion. Most faux suede and leather start to peel which makes the jacket look cheap. I’ve had my shearling jacket for couple years ago and it looks as good as it did when I purchased. I was also surprised at how warm it is. Shearling jackets have become my go-to when the temperature is in the thirties or forties.
Since I bought my jacket a couple of years ago, it’s of course out of stock. Luckily, it looks like ASOS actually recreated the jacket this year with a bit of an update which you can shop here. I’ve shopped with ASOS for a while now. I’ve realized their sizing runs a little small for tops. I would recommend sizing up to accommodate the European sizing. For reference, I wear a size large, but I purchased an XL in my shearling jacket.
Below I’ve rounded up some the best shearling jackets you can shop online. A lot of retailers are still offering big discounts to makes room for their Spring inventory. This is the perfect time to catch shearling coats and jackets on sale. If shearling jackets aren’t your speed, check out my this post for a list of the season’s best outerwear.
