As men we don’t have the luxury of improving our appearance with hair and makeup; what you see is what you get. Putting energy into our grooming routine is essential when it comes to looking and feeling our best. This is especially true during the summer. Lab Series recently gifted me with some of their best sellers and they’re honestly a huge step-up from the drugstore products that I typically use. I’m not a big fan of toners, because most of them are as effective as splashing water on your face. Lab Series Rescue Water Lotion is completely different. It’s cool and refreshing which is perfect for summer. Plus my skin still feels hydrated even when I’ve forgotten to use a moisturizer.
My favorite product from the line is the Future Rescue Repair Serum. My skin has been clearer than ever since I’ve outgrown my acne. At the same time my complexion is still dull and uneven. Since I’ve been using the repair serum, my skin looks and feels so much smoother. I can’t wait to see how my complexion evens out over time!
Last, but certainly not least is the Age Rescue+ Water-Charged Gel Cream. My favorite moisturizers are usually too thick for summer. However this one from Lab Series is water based, which makes it the perfect alternative. As the name implies, it’s a cross between a gel and cream which gives it a super lightweight feel. A lot of moisturizers promise to keep your skin hydrated for 24 hours, but usually fall short. My skin always feels soft all after using the gel cream so it lives up to it’s 24 hour promise.
